Batch Numbers
Have you ever seen that little label on the back of a bottle of B. Nektar Mead? You know, the one with all the numbers on it that looks like it's a price sticker? Well it's a batch number. Every bottle of mead we produce comes with a handy dandy batch number which, if you know how to read it, will tell you exactly when it was made, and the batch number. Here's how it works.

In the picture above, the bottle is from Release 46, made in September of 2009.
The first 3 numbers represent the batch number.
The last 4 numbers represent the month and year the mead was made.
We do realize that we have a Y21K problem. We're working on it. :)
