Morada Aztec Spiced Metheglin
Star Thistle Honey, Cinnamon, Vanilla, Cacao Nibs, Ancho & Guajillo Chili Peppers
Collaboration with Andre Junqueira and Fernanda Lazzari from Morada Brewing (Morada Cia Etílica) in Brazil. Inspired by cacao beverages consumed at Aztec Festivals and Ceremonies. We made a Star Thistle mead fermented to 14% with some nice residual sweetness and added cacao nibs, cinnamon, vanilla beans and a blend of mild Ancho & Guajillo chili peppers to give it an extremely exotic feel.
